Green End

Further on Church Street turns into Green End, and on your left is The Plough, a popular pub with a beer garden leading down to the river edge.

The pub's days as a Brewer's Fayre are behind it, - it now serves real ales, lunchtime food and a bistro-style evening menu. See the links page for details.

The Plough pub also serves as a pick-up point for the riverboat Rosie - see our local facilities page for details.

The road continues for several hundred yards; it is a no-through-road for motor traffic, but walkers and (off-road) cyclists have a choice of a path alongside the river which eventually crosses it at Bait's Bite lock, or a track which cuts across a field to Horningsea Road.
